Paul Kennedy leads Danone’s Net Zero Carbon programme, overseeing the company’s roadmap to 2050, within Danone’s global manufacturing operations. Prior to this, Paul was Danone’s Global Sustainability Manager for the company’s Specialised Nutrition operations, overseeing the global Nature and Sustainability Programme, integrating commitments on climate change, water preservation, regenerative agriculture and promoting a circular economy for packaging and food waste. Paul graduated as an engineer from the National University of Ireland in Galway. He began his career as a project engineer within the construction industry and joined Danone in 2010 as an Environment, Health and Safety Manager at Danone Wexford, the world’s first baby formula plant certified as carbon neutral by the Carbon Trust.
