Mary Ryan is the CEO of Crédit Agricole Creditor Insurance Group, leading Life, Non-Life, and Reinsurance subsidiaries here in Ireland, with teams in Dublin, Paris, Milan & most recently Stuttgart.

Recognised for her purpose-driven leadership, her commitment to organisational culture, ability to transform organisations as well as being a champion for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Mary was named Most Trusted Leader - Ireland in 2023, by Great Place to Work Ireland.

She is actively involved in industry groups, including Insurance Ireland’s Talent & Future Skills working group as well as the DEI task force, and leads Crédit Agricole Assurances’ International female leadership program.

A true advocate for innovation, Mary supports and nurtures tech startups within the Irish and French ecosystems. She recently collaborated with La French Tech Dublin, Enterprise Ireland, and Le Village by CA to co-organise and sponsor a challenge aimed at Irish startups with an interest in expanding to France and internationally.

Mary is a Chartered Director and serves as Non-executive Director on a number of Boards, including the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce where she has recently been appointed Vice-President.
