EDITORIAL FICC

Dear FICC Members,

It may be a little late but I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy and successful 2025!

2025 is off to a fantastic start at the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce and we were delighted to gather last Thursday for our first networking event of the year.

The Members Soirée at the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI) was a wonderful occasion to reconnect and celebrate the beginning of an exciting chapter for the Chamber. It marked the first address by our new FICC President, Chris Smyth, who will lead the Chamber for the next two years. We look forward to working with Chris, the Council and all our members to further strengthen Franco-Irish business ties.

Looking ahead, our first Le NETwork group session of the year will take place on 18th February, kindly hosted by OSM Partners LLP, followed by the CEO Forum (virtual format) on 19th February.

We are also pleased to welcome Benjamin Fol and Antoine Brisson, both VIEs representing French companies that are entering the Irish market: Global Technologies and Rincent ND Technologies. Benjamin and Antoine benefit from the Chamber’s Landing Space Service, now located at our new offices on 26/27 Mount Street Upper, D2.

And finally, a date for your diaries – our next Speed Networking session, in collaboration with NetworkIrlande in France, will take place online on 8th April. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details!

We look forward to an exciting year ahead with all of you.

Cliona McGowan – Director France Ireland Chamber of Commerce

MEMBERS SOIRÉE

We had the pleasure of welcoming over 90 FICC Members & Friends to our exclusive FICC Members Soirée at the MoLI – Museum of Literature Ireland. It was a fantastic evening filled with great conversations, networking, and shared experiences.

This event marked the first address of 2025 by our newly elected President, Chris Smyth. We look forward to his leadership and an exciting chapter ahead for our business community! A special merci to Guillaume Génin & Moët Hennessy for kindly sponsoring the “apéritif” 🍷🥂

We were also privileged to hear from Marguerite Brosnan (AXA Ireland) and Matt McCann (Access Earth), who shared their inspiring experiences of winning the Ireland France Business Awards 2024 in Paris. Their insights into cross-border success were truly motivating.

Events like these highlight the strength of our Franco-Irish business community and we look forward to many more gatherings ahead!
