Dear FICC Members,
Bonjour à toutes et à tous !
As we move into the Autumn months, we have a busy schedule ahead of us here at FICC and some very exciting events lined up.
Our highly anticipated FICC Business Lunch, sponsored by Forvis Mazars, is just around the corner. Next Thursday the 17th October, we have the honour of welcoming an Tánaiste, Micheál Martin TD, as our keynote speaker.
We look forward to hearing first hand from an Tánaiste how he views the future of Franco-Irish business in the context of the new political landscape in France.
On behalf of FICC and NetworkIrlande, we wish to thank the many high-quality applicants who applied this year for the Ireland France Business Awards 2024.
The award winners in each of the three categories will be announced 14th November on board la Paquebot, in the presence of 300+ company representatives who are active in the Franco-Irish business world.
There are still places available for this highlight event of 2024 but do book very soon to avoid disappointment.
Save the date! Our Annual Christmas Lunch, sponsored by Perennial Freight, will be held in the beautiful surroundings of the Westbury Hotel, Dublin on Friday 13th December. This year we are thrilled to announce Paris-based author and contributor to the Irish Times, Lara Marlowe, as our guest speaker. Take advantage of our early bird offer here (until 8th November) and join us to celebrate the festive season.
Finally we would like to extend a warm welcome to H.E. Céline Place, the newly appointed French Ambassador to Ireland. We look forward very much to working closely with Ambassador Place and all of Team France to ensure we optimise on our ability to work together to strengthen the ties between France and Ireland.
Bonne lecture et à très bientôt !
Cliona McGowan – Director France Ireland Chamber of Commerce
