EDITORIAL FICC

Dear FICC Members,

I hope that the first quarter 2024 is going well for you all as we move closer to Paddy’s weekend and all things green.

Speaking of green, this reminds me of the webinar our WG on Climate Response produced in January on “Sustainable Transport in Ireland.  You can find the recording of this informative discussion here.

I would also like to highlight our recent activities in the realm of leadership that are now available on the FICC website.

Áine Murray, FICC President, featured as a guest on the Women in Leadership Podcast series by Angie Mezetti. Áine speaks about gender equality, diversity and inclusion in the Franco-Irish business world and what we can learn from France in this arena. This excellent podcast can be accessed here.

We continue our popular “Fireside Chat Series with FICC CEO’s and hear from Martin Dempsey of Sanofi who has 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in both medium and large size Pharma. Another riveting recording that can be found here on the FICC website.

A warm welcome also to Teneo, the global advisory firm, a new FICC Patron and we look forward to working with Michael O’Keeffe and his team.

Finally, I would like to personally wish all the wonderful women active in the Franco-Irish business community a Happy International Women’s Day,
Une Bonne Journée Internationale des Droits des Femmes !

A très bientôt!

Cliona McGowan – Director France Ireland Chamber of Commerce
